Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) seeks a Customer Service Representative to join our California retail team in Gilroy. You will assist the Station Manager, oversee operations in their absence, handle cash transactions, and ensure safety and customer focus in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires English proficiency, cash handling experience and the ability to multi-task. Shift flexibility, strong teamwork, and 21+ age are expected, with CSI policies guiding daily tasks and loss-prevention

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions.
• Previous experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register, computer console and related equipment/software.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for food storage/serving.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; strong communication skills.
• Minimum age 21 for certain locations (California) and 21+ for management roles.

Responsabilités

• Assist Station Manager in daily operations of the retail facility.
• Oversee station operations and staff in the Station Manager’s absence.
• Provide direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies.
• Ensure wage/hour compliance and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cash/control processes and use transactional equipment to process customer transactions.
• Operate and maintain food service equipment and assist CSRs as needed.
• Report issues affecting customer service, safety, profitability, or policy adherence.
• Perform CSR duties as needed and support other shift roles.
