Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is hiring for a Station Supervisor role in California. You will assist the Station Manager with daily operations, supervise staff during shifts, ensure safety and customer service standards, and handle cash transactions with accuracy.

The role requires experience in fast-paced retail or fuel environments, strong English communication, and flexibility to work varied hours, including graveyard shifts in some locations.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register, computer console and related equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety for food storage and service.
• Willingness to work varied hours including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently or in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• High School graduate and minimum 21 years of age for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction to staff during shifts to cover customer service, stocking, cleaning, and food-service.
• Assist with product inventory management and coordinate with other stations to limit out-of-stocks.
• Cash/money handling and accountability; use transactional equipment to process customer transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and operation of food service equipment.
• Inform Station Manager of issues affecting service, safety, profitability, or policy adherence.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and use of PPE as required.
• Complete daily/weekly administrative tasks for retail and gas sales.
• Back-up CSR duties as needed.
