Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. is hiring to support store operations and customer service at our California locations. The role involves assisting the Station Manager, directing staff, and ensuring safety, security, and high standards in daily tasks.

You will handle cash transactions, operate POS systems, manage inventory with attention to shrink and stock levels, and maintain a clean, customer-focused environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies and train staff.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environments with cash handling.
• Experience operating a cash register and related computer systems.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety for food storage and service.
• Available for varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Provide direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies.
• Handle accidents professionally and escalate when needed.
• Perform CSR duties and support store inventory management.
• Operate and maintain POS equipment and daily paperwork.
