Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. in California is seeking a Stores Operations Supervisor to assist the Station Manager with daily retail and fuel station activities, overseeing staff and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will supervise shifts, enforce CSI wage guidelines, train CSRs, and uphold cash handling and loss prevention procedures while maintaining customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment, including cash handling and customer service experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment, tools and computer software programs & applications.
• Knowledge and application of proper sanitation and safety requirements associated with food storage and serving.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager’s absence.
• Provide work direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed according to CSI guidelines.
• Support and adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies; respond to incidents professionally.
• Ensure compliance with wage & hour requirements and CSI cash/money handling processes.
• Perform CSR duties and related tasks as needed by Station Manager or Business Consultant.
