Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) is hiring for a Customer Service role to assist in the day-to-day store operations and supervise staff in the absence of the Station Manager. You’ll ensure customer satisfaction, proper cash handling, and adherence to CSI safety and wage guidelines.

Candidates should have experience in fast-paced retail or fuel environments, strong English communication, and the ability to work varied shifts. Benefits and flexible shifts are listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment, including cash handling and customer service experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment, tools and computer software programs & applications.
• Knowledge and application of proper sanitation and safety requirements associated with food storage and serving.
• Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager’s absence.
• Provide work direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed per CSI guidelines.
• Support and adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies and report incidents as needed.
• Ensure compliance with wage & hour requirements and CSI cash/money handling processes.
• Operate/maintain store equipment and perform daily administrative tasks related to retail & gas sales.
