The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking an IT Manager 2 to lead the Technical Support program across the state. You will supervise a team of 34 professionals and oversee a $7.5 million budget, delivering secure and reliable end-user technology services.

You will shape technology strategy, set desktop standards, and collaborate with state agencies to address needs while improving service delivery and risk management.

Qualificações

• Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience.
• OR
• Three years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead statewide desktop support services, ensuring equipment and software are secure, reliable, and supported.
• Supervise and develop a team of 34 technical professionals with a focus on accountability and customer service.
• Manage a $7.5 million biennial operating budget, monitoring expenditures and aligning resources with agency priorities.
• Develop and implement technology support strategies, business plans and initiatives aligned with DOC goals.
• Establish and maintain desktop technology standards, policies, procedures, and asset management.
• Partner with DOC leadership, state agencies, and external stakeholders to address needs and manage risks.
• Evaluate service delivery through performance metrics and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support enterprise initiatives including strategic planning, business continuity, disaster recovery, and process improvement.
• Provide expert consultation to executive leadership on operations and investments.
