Job summary

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection at Ringwood State Park in Ringwood, NJ 07456, is seeking applicants for a front-line customer service and clerical role open to the general public. This on-site position supports a 35-hour work week and requires working seven days a week year-round.

Under supervision, duties include assisting visitors, processing reservations, handling payments, selling park passes and merchandise, answering inquiries, and producing daily revenue reports.

Qualifications

• Front-line and behind the scenes customer and other support services involving the review, processing and issuance of agency documents.

Responsibilities

• Providing customer service to the general public and performing clerical duties.
• Registering campers and addressing reservation issues.
• Providing phone coverage and fielding complaints.
• Collecting fees, selling State Park Passes and Park Merchandise.
• Operating toll booth and performing daily fiscal reports.
• Compiling and submitting revenue and attendance reports.
