Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring an Account Executive to grow cloud adoption within New York State government customers. You will build long-term relationships with CXOs and IT leaders, identify opportunities, and coordinate with AWS Solution Architects, Partners, Legal, Marketing, and product teams to win deals.

The role requires strategic planning, pipeline management, and the ability to convey compelling cloud use cases to public sector clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full sales cycle or tech sales.
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Experience in customer-facing roles engaging executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with tech.

Responsibilities

• Grow adoption and deepen cloud engagement across the state government portfolio in New York State.
• Partner with AWS Public Sector team to advance market and technical strategy.
• Articulate and implement strategic territory and account plans aligned to AWS's direction.
