We have an opening for a full-time State Account Manager, available at any Concordance location or fully remote. The primary role of the State Account Manager (SAM) is to grow new MMCAP and Private Sector business opportunities within their region or market segment, promoting profitability that exceeds budget and aligns with strategic objectives. The SAM will establish and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to identify new opportunities, win contracts, and manage existing accounts.

Essential Functions:
  1. Capture new business through contract awards, sourcing, and expanding existing contract vehicles to drive profitable revenue.
  2. Present the Concordance value proposition to Private Sector customers.
  3. Attend healthcare supply chain networking events to promote Concordance.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with supply chain members and customers.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to support vendor relationships, new products, and promotional activities.
  6. Participate in industry conferences and internal meetings.
  7. Communicate regularly with senior management regarding performance, opportunities, and industry trends.
  8. Travel overnight up to 70% or as needed.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of State Government Sales experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of MMCAP/State Government procurement and GPO contracting.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret procurement documents and regulations.
  • Proven business development and account management experience.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
Work Location:
  • Concordance location or fully remote.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00
