We have an opening for a full-time State Account Manager, available at any Concordance location or fully remote. The primary role of the State Account Manager (SAM) is to grow new MMCAP and Private Sector business opportunities within their region or market segment, aiming to improve profitability that exceeds budget and aligns with corporate strategies. The SAM will develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to identify and secure new contracts, maintain existing business, and meet corporate goals.

Essential Functions
  1. Capture new business through contracts, product sourcing, and expanding existing contracts to generate profitable revenue.
  2. Present Concordance’s value proposition to private sector customers.
  3. Attend networking events to promote Concordance.
  4. Build relationships with supply chain members and internal/external customers to support business growth.
  5. Execute strategies for the private sector to meet sales and financial targets.
  6. Report on performance, market trends, and industry best practices to senior management.
  7. Disrupt markets by closing profitable sales and increasing market share.
  8. Conduct in-person meetings with private sector personnel and government agencies.
  9. Work independently, quickly learning systems and value propositions.
  10. Travel up to 70% as needed.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of State Government Sales experience.
  • Strong team player with leadership qualities and cooperative work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Private Sector government agencies and procurement methods.
  • Professional selling skills; training preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of State Government buying practices and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret RFPs, SOWs, and related documents.
  • Relationship-building skills and professionalism.
  • Proven business development and account management experience.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
Work Location & Compensation
  • Location: Concordance site or fully remote.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 annually.
