We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time State Account Manager, based in any Concordance location or fully remote. The primary role of the State Account Manager (SAM) is to grow new MMCAP and Private Sector business opportunities within their region or market segment, promoting profitability that exceeds budget and aligns with corporate strategies. The SAM will establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to identify and secure new contracts, manage existing business, and meet corporate goals.

Essential Functions:
  1. Capture new business through contracts, sourcing, and expansion of existing contract vehicles to drive profitable revenue exceeding goals.
  2. Present the Concordance value proposition to Private Sector customers.
  3. Attend MMCAP/State Government healthcare supply chain networking events to promote Concordance.
  4. Develop relationships with supply chain members in each account.
  5. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support business development and contract closure.
  6. Execute strategies for the Private Sector market segment to meet financial and sales objectives.
  7. Report on performance, growth opportunities, industry trends, and best practices to senior management.
  8. Travel up to 70% as needed, including overnight stays.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of State Government Sales experience.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Private Sector government agencies and procurement methods.
  • Professional selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of State Government buying practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships and manage accounts across multiple geographies.
  • Successful passing of background checks and drug screening.
Work Location and Compensation:
  • Location: Concordance site or fully remote.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 annually.
