Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Startup Operations role focused on launching and supporting new Dedicated Transportation Solutions. Candidates will train drivers and managers, implement processes, and support operations across travel-heavy assignments.

The role requires extensive travel (75-80%), strong leadership, and the ability to develop documentation and guidance for field operations. Bachelor’s degree in business/logistics is preferred, with relevant supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED plus a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Two or more years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• One year or more of direct supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Startup team focused on flawless execution and adherence to pre-established customer critical factors.
• Ensure drivers and managers understand core operations and systems for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing.
• Act as an extension of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during startup.
• Training of new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group.
• Build out process flow and provide guidance on consistency of operations.
