Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move goods safely and efficiently using a forklift, pallet jack, and reach truck. You will locate storage slots, replenish pick areas, check temperatures, and ensure GMP and safety standards are followed.

You will work in a team to maintain inventory flow, perform pre-shift safety checks, handle equipment, and complete paperwork at shift end. Competitive benefits start Day 1 and opportunities for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–35 pounds and generally up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets with forklift or hand; records product data and location.
• Counts incoming freight in staging and transports to freezer using forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates stock to front and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Removes empty pallets and wraps; inspects and moves pallets with pallet jack or forklift.
