Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support our distribution centers. Duties include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, selecting and storing inventory, and maintaining accuracy and safety during fast-paced shifts.

The role requires 6+ months in warehousing, ability to lift 10–90 pounds, and the flexibility to work a Sunday 12:00 PM–8:30 PM and Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM schedule. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of warehouse and/or distribution experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items
• Inspects incoming freight in staging and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front and removes outdated inventory per policy
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots and ensures safe housekeeping
