Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move goods across multi-temperature environments in a fast-paced distribution center. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment to load, stock, and replenish inventory.

Role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with on-site responsibilities including maintaining stock rotations, preparing for orderly shifts, and performing routine checks. Prior forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months warehouse or distribution experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs at times.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper storage slots and position pallets with forklift or hand stack.
• Count incoming freight and transport to freezer with forklift or pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock per next-day work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Remove empty pallets and inspect for damage; move with pallet jack or forklift.
• Follow safety policies; maintain a safe work area and report hazards.
• Complete paperwork and perform end-of-shift vehicle inspections.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
