Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Ohio is hiring a Forklift/Reach Operator, Non Formula, to move freight, stock shelves, and support the distribution process. You will operate stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, maintaining safety and GMP standards while meeting productivity targets.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and willingness to work overtime in a multi-temperature environment including cooler and freezer spaces. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and overtime.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products up to 90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets with stand-up forklift or hand stack items.
• Transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and removes outdated inventory.
• Inspects and handles pallets and packaging, ensuring safe storage.
