Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for the Workforce Central team in Downtown Indy. The role manages a 24/7 live schedule, using Kronos to track staffing and timekeeping across the system.

The position requires flexibility for weekends/holidays and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills and prior Kronos experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Flexibility in scheduling due to 24/7 responsibilities (includes weekends/holidays).
• Team-oriented environment with strong communication and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred Kronos experience (timekeeping and scheduler).
• 1–2 years in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a 24/7 live schedule using Kronos for real-time staffing and timekeeping.
• Maintains Kronos and related systems and records to support IU Health Workforce Central.
• Performs daily operations and special projects related to the 24/7 live schedule.
• Ensures resources are allocated to increase flexibility and adaptability for patient care.

• Rotates preferred scheduled days Sunday - Saturday
• Includes weekend rotations, holiday rotations, and on-call weekend rotations.

• Ensures resources are properly allocated to increase flexibility and adaptability to support patient care across the system.
