Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics in New Jersey to lead the Staffing Coordinators and optimize nurse capacity. The role reports to the VP of Nursing Operations and will travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

You will develop forecasting models, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making and drive improvements in staffing coverage and open patient care hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience within the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams with measurable performance goals and accountability metrics.
• Demonstrated success using data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions.
• Experience optimizing workforce utilization, reducing service gaps, improving staffing coverage, or increasing efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments.
• Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators ensuring continuity of care.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization.
• Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives for productivity and scalability.
• Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
• Optimize workflows and technology utilization for better operational effectiveness.
• Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage and utilization.
• Support strategic initiatives related to growth, workforce planning, and operational excellence.
