Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is hiring a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics in New Jersey. This hybrid role supports Staffing Coordinators, optimizing nurse capacity and staffing efficiency while traveling between Mt. Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

The ideal candidate will lead data-driven workforce planning, forecasting, and reporting to reduce open hours and improve patient care coverage. Requires 3+ years in healthcare leadership and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience within healthcare.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams with measurable performance goals and improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated success using data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions.
• Experience optimizing workforce utilization, reducing service gaps, improving staffing coverage, or increasing efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools, and OT.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across departments.
• Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators responsible for matching nurses with patient needs.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization.
• Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
• Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
• Optimize workflows, technology usage, and workforce management practices.
• Monitor staffing metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage.
• Support growth initiatives in workforce planning and operational excellence.
