Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health in New Jersey seeks a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics to oversee Staffing Coordinators and optimize nurse capacity and coverage across Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

The role requires a data-driven operations leader with experience in workforce planning, analytics, forecasting, and process improvement to reduce open patient care hours and improve utilization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management in healthcare.
• Experience leading teams with measurable performance goals and improvement initiatives.
• Proven success using data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions.
• Experience optimizing workforce utilization, reducing service gaps, or increasing efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting operational data.
• Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM, reporting tools, and OT.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to influence across departments.
• Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization.
• Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data for trends and gaps.
• Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to increase productivity and scalability.
• Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
• Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices.
• Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage and utilization.
• Support growth, workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and operational excellence.
