Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics in New Jersey. This hybrid role leads a Staffing Coordinators team, optimizing nurse capacity and forecasting to ensure patient care coverage across Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices with travel between locations.

The ideal candidate uses data-driven insights to reduce open patient care hours, improve staffing efficiency, and scale operations.

Qualifications

3+ years of people management experience within the healthcare industry.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams with measurable performance goals and accountability.
Demonstrated use of data, analytics, forecasting, and reporting to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Staffing Coordinators to match nurses with patient needs.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization.
Analyze staffing and operations data to identify trends and risks.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
Partner with Nursing Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to address workforce needs.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
Optimize workflows and technology utilization to improve efficiency.
Monitor staffing metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage and utilization.
Support growth initiatives related to workforce planning and capacity forecasting.
