Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health seeks a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics in New Jersey. The role oversees Staffing Coordinators, optimizing nurse capacity, and improving staffing performance with analytics-driven insights.

Regular travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices is required. The ideal leader will drive forecasting, dashboards, and KPIs to reduce open patient care hours and enhance workforce utilization, reporting to Nursing Operations and

Qualifications

3+ years of people management experience in healthcare.
Experience leading and developing teams with measurable goals and performance improvements.
Data-driven approach with analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Staffing Coordinators to match nurses with patient needs.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization.
Analyze staffing and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to address workforce supply and patient demand.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to increase productivity and scalability.
Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
Optimize workflows and technology utilization for overall operational effectiveness.
Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage and utilization.
Support strategic growth initiatives in workforce planning and capacity forecasting.
