Job summary

Star Pediatric Home Care in New Jersey seeks a Manager of Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics to lead a Staffing Coordinators team, optimize nurse capacity, and drive data-informed workforce decisions. This role reports to the VP of Nursing Operations and supports growth with capacity forecasting and operational excellence.

The position is hybrid, requiring office presence near Mount Laurel, Howell, or Saddle Brook with travel between NJ offices.

Qualifications

3+ years of people management experience within healthcare.
Proven experience leading and developing teams with measurable performance goals.
Demonstrated success using data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions.
Experience optimizing workforce utilization and staffing coverage to reduce gaps and improve efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actions.
Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting.
Advanced proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools, and related tech.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence across departments.
Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization.
Analyze staffing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives.
Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
Optimize workflows and technology utilization to improve operational effectiveness.
Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage and responsiveness.
Support growth initiatives with workforce planning and capacity forecasting.
