Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics in New Jersey. Lead Staffing Coordinators, optimize nurse utilization, and drive data-driven decisions to reduce open hours and improve coverage.

You will forecast demand, build dashboards, and partner with Nursing Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to scale processes and improve performance. This is a hybrid role with travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience within the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams with measurable performance goals and accountability.
• Demonstrated success using data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting.
• Experience optimizing workforce utilization and staffing coverage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills interpreting complex data.
• Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, forecasts and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Staffing Coordinators to match nurses with patient needs.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization strategies.
• Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools supporting data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives.
• Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
• Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices.
• Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement corrective action plans.
• Support strategic initiatives related to growth, capacity forecasting, and operational excellence.
