Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking a Staffing & Recruitment Specialist to manage the full caregiver staffing lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding, matching clients and caregivers, and maintaining staffing excellence.

The role blends recruiting, scheduling, onboarding, and compliance, with a strong focus on caregiver and client experience. English/Spanish bilingual is strongly preferred, with clear pathways into Operations Leadership for high performers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare staffing, recruiting, scheduling, or operations.
• Experience recruiting hourly healthcare professionals preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full caregiver recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding.
• Create and post engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms.
• Source candidates through Indeed, social media, referrals, job fairs, and other channels.
• Screen resumes and applications; conduct phone and virtual interviews.
• Coordinate interviews with leadership and extend offers with pre-employment steps.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers for immediate and future staffing needs.
• Match caregivers with clients based on skills, availability, language, and location.
• Coordinate scheduling updates and ensure coverage with minimal overtime.
• Coordinate onboarding and verify employment documentation; track licenses and certificates.
• Ensure records remain compliant with state regulations and policies.
• Support caregiver and client experience through check-ins and issue resolution.
• Prepare reports and assist with process improvements.
