Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in New Jersey is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage the full caregiver staffing lifecycle—from recruiting exceptional caregivers to matching them with clients and ensuring staffing excellence.

The role emphasizes proactive recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, compliance, caregiver and client experience, and cross-functional collaboration with operations; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred and room for career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare staffing, home care, recruiting, workforce management, scheduling, or healthcare operations.
• Experience recruiting hourly healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience using ATS, scheduling software, or CRM systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities.
• Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• English required; Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full caregiver recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding.
• Create and post engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms.
• Source candidates via Indeed, social media, referrals, job fairs, community organizations, and other channels.
• Screen resumes and applications; conduct phone and virtual interviews.
• Coordinate interviews with leadership and extend offers; manage pre-employment requirements.
• Match caregivers with clients based on skills, availability, language, and location; coordinate scheduling.
• Coordinate caregiver onboarding, verify documentation, and track compliance requirements.
• Build relationships with caregivers and clients to improve engagement and retention.
• Deliver exceptional client service and maintain accurate documentation in scheduling and CRM systems.
