Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Storage Engineer to design and operate high-performance storage behind our AI platform. You will build scalable, multi-tenant storage systems powering some of the world’s largest AI workloads, working with infrastructure, compute, and platform teams.

You’ll drive reliability, throughput, and observability through modern storage technologies and close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant control plane for storage
• Contribute to exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and distributed file systems
• Improve reliability, durability, and observability of the storage stack
• Monitor and optimize storage systems using telemetry, metrics, and dashboards
• Collaborate with platform, operations, and infra teams to deliver seamless storage capabilities
• Mentor other engineers on distributed, high-performance storage systems
