Job summary

CoreWeave, a leading AI cloud provider, seeks an expert in storage systems to design and implement scalable storage for AI workloads. You will build and optimize S3-compatible storage, integrate clusters into varied environments, and improve reliability and observability of the storage stack.

You will collaborate across product, platform, and infra teams, mentor engineers, and push for high-performance, low-latency data access with RDMA and advanced file systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production environments.
• Experience with storage protocols (e.g. S3, NFS) and file systems such as Ceph or DAOS.
• Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, C, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed storage solutions to support scaling data intensive AI workloads.
• Contribute to exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and integrate storage clusters into diverse environments.
• Work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and distributed filesystems protocols to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Lead efforts to improve reliability, durability, security, and observability of the storage stack.
• Collaborate with operations to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve storage systems in production.
• Set the bar for metrics and dashboards to provide visibility into storage health and performance.
• Analyze telemetry and system data to drive improvements in throughput and latency.
