Job summary
CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Engineer, File & Block Storage to design, build, and operate the file and block storage behind our high-performance AI storage platform. You will work with infrastructure, compute and platform teams to deliver scalable storage solutions, including exabyte-scale object storage and distributed filesystems, across diverse customer environments.
The role requires 10+ years in storage, proficiency in Go/C++/Rust, and experience with Ceph/DAOS, S3/NFS, and Kubernetes in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering.
- 10+ years in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
- Hands-on with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.
- Experience with S3 or NFS and Ceph/DAOS.
- Proficient in Go, C++, or Rust.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant control plane for AI storage.
- Develop exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and distributed FS.
- Collaborate with operations to monitor and optimize storage systems.
- Mentor engineers and share best practices in distributed systems.
