Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring for a Storage Engineer to design and implement distributed storage solutions for AI workloads on a high‑performance platform. You will build exabyte‑scale, S3‑compatible storage and integrate dedicated storage clusters across diverse customer environments.

You’ll work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and advanced file system protocols to optimize performance and efficiency. You will lead reliability improvements, monitor storage health, and collaborate with platform, product,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8–10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.
Proficiency in Go, C, or Rust.
Experience with storage protocols (S3, NFS) and file systems (Ceph, DAOS).

Responsibilities

Design and implement distributed storage solutions to support AI workloads.
Build exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and integrate storage clusters.
Work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and distributed file systems protocols to optimize performance.
Improve reliability, durability, security, and observability of storage stack.
Collaborate with operations to monitor and troubleshoot production storage systems.
Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor storage health and throughput.
Analyze telemetry to drive throughput, latency, and resilience improvements.
Mentor engineers and share best practices for distributed high‑performance systems.
