Job summary

Compass is hiring a Staff Security Engineer to advance security across our real estate technology stack. You will automate and scale application security testing, partner with engineering for secure-by-design architectures, and serve as a trusted security advisor across product and engineering teams.

You will also drive AI-powered security capabilities and foster collaboration to accelerate secure product delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in CI/CD tooling, automated security testing, and security reviews.
• Experience scripting with Python or Bash.
• Development experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support automated application security testing frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide secure-by-design architectures with engineering teams.
• Act as trusted security advisor for product features and development processes.
• Advocate for secure-by-design practices across the organization.
