Compass is building the first modern end-to-end real estate platform and seeks a security-focused engineer to fortify endpoint management, identity security, and AI risk controls across our remote-first environment.

You will design Safe-by-Default environments, drive Terraform/GitOps, and govern MCP and AI integrations. Join a team scaling security for a rapidly growing agent network and new markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in endpoint management, identity, AI security, or IaC.
• Ability to script in Python or Go and automate security processes.
• Experience configuring security controls for cloud identities (Okta, Google Workspace).
• Knowledge of SSO, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC, and network security basics.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Compass architecture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safe-by-Default environments across SaaS, endpoints, and networks.
• Modernize endpoint management and strengthen security architectures.
• Drive GitOps and IaC workflows with Terraform and CI pipelines.
• Automate deployment, patching, and secure software distribution.
• Govern AI security and MCP usage, review prompts, and agent tools.
• Assess third-party and AI risks; lead threat modeling activities.
• Partner on detection and response with the security team.
• Iterate security controls to support growth and new markets.
