Job summary

Compass International Holdings (CIH) seeks a Staff Security Engineer to drive security outcomes across product and engineering teams. You will build secure-by-design architectures, scale automated testing, and advise on risk and architecture.

You will partner with engineering to embed secure practices, advance AI-powered security capabilities, and promote a strong security culture in a multi-cloud, Agile setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in CI/CD security including automation tooling and testing.
• Hands-on with IaC (Terraform) and AWS for secure, reproducible infra.
• Experience applying AI to support security processes and efficiency.
• Certifications (CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, GIAC) are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate, scale, and support application security testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with engineering to embed secure-by-design principles from the start.
• Advise product and engineering teams on security risks and architecture.
• Advocate for secure design across the organization and culture.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to meet delivery goals without compromising security.
• Drive AI-powered security capabilities and establish AI-SPM frameworks.
