Job summary

Compass Security through CIH safeguards one of the world’s largest real estate tech estates. Staff Security Engineer drives secure-by-design roadmaps, partners with engineering, and advises product teams on risk and architecture choices.

You will champion AI-powered security capabilities, promote secure practices, and collaborate across Product and Engineering to accelerate secure product delivery while protecting enterprise data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in administering CI/CD pipeline tools and automation.
• Experience in tuning SAST/DAST/SCA tools.
• Automation scripting using Python or Bash.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform to provision secure infrastructure.
• Practical experience with AWS services and secure product delivery.
• Hands-on experience using AI to assist product security processes.

Responsibilities

• Automate & scale application security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate architectures and embed secure-by-design principles.
• Serve as a trusted security advisor for features, tooling, and development processes.
• Advocate for secure-by-design practices across the organization.
• Collaborate across Product and Engineering to achieve secure delivery goals.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered security capabilities and AI-SPM frameworks.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to keep security capabilities aligned with business objectives.
