Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager on the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover, understand, and use available credit. You will own the strategy for credit experiences spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex credit capabilities into intuitive products that drive activation, conversion, and repeat engagement.

You will lead with empathy and collaborate across Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal to resolve tradeoffs

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience across fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or related complex environments.
• Ability to independently set direction for a substantial product area and align multiple teams.
• Strong judgment translating complex systems into intuitive experiences and earning consumer trust.
• Strategic depth linking long-term opportunities to practical platform decisions, collaborating with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences and translate strategy into cross-team priorities.
• Develop experiences for exploring financing options before checkout and understanding purchasing power.
• Create personalized journeys using research and experimentation to meet user needs.
• Partner with purchasing power and credit decisioning teams to translate capabilities into consistent experiences.
• Lead cross-functional decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, and Legal to resolve tradeoffs.
• Define success, run discovery and experiments, and use funnel analysis to improve activation and conversion while ensuring responsible access to credit.
