Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team. You will shape how consumers discover and use credit, owning strategy for experiences from shopping to repayment.

You’ll translate complex credit capabilities into intuitive products that build trust and drive activation, conversion and engagement. You will lead with empathy, collaborate with Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Legal, and own measurable results through discovery, experimentation, and data-driven

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or related complex environments.
• Leadership across teams; independently set direction for a substantial product area.
• Strong ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences with clear communication.
• Strategic and technical depth; connect long-term opportunities to practical platform decisions.
• Analytical and experimental rigor; use research, data and experiments to prioritize opportunities.
• Comfort with ambiguity; provide structure, make decisions with incomplete info.
• Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and translate strategy into priorities across multiple teams.
• Build experiences that make credit understandable and explorable before checkout.
• Create personalized consumer journeys using research and experimentation.
• Connect platform capabilities to consumer outcomes, e.g., prequalification and purchasing power.
• Lead cross-functional tradeoff decisions among Consumer, Growth, Risk, and Legal partners.
• Define success metrics, run discovery and experiments, and improve activation, conversion, and repeat engagement.
