Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover and use available credit. You will own the strategy for credit experiences across shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex credit capabilities into intuitive products that drive activation, conversion, and repeat engagement.

Lead cross-functional teams to resolve tradeoffs, emphasize user trust, and deliver measurable improvements in activation, purchase conversion, and engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or similar environments.
• Ability to set direction for a substantial product area and align multiple teams around priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Strong consumer product judgment with the ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences and earn consumer trust.
• Strategic and technical depth, collaborating with engineers to enable cross-experience capabilities.
• Analytical and experimental rigor using research, data, and experiments to drive decisions.
• Ownership in ambiguity, delivering structured decisions with incomplete information.
• Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences across shopping, repayment, and marketing.
• Build experiences that help consumers explore financing options and understand purchasing power.
• Develop personalized journeys using research and experimentation to meet consumer needs.
• Connect platform capabilities to consumer outcomes, partnering with purchasing power and credit decisioning teams.
• Lead cross-functional tradeoffs with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal.
• Define success metrics and use funnel analysis and feedback to improve activation, conversion, and engagement.
