Job summary

Affirm seeks a Staff Product Manager on the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover, understand, and use available credit. You’ll own the strategy for credit experiences spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex capabilities into intuitive products that drive activation and trust.

Partnering with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal, you’ll lead cross‑functional decisions, define measurable outcomes, and push a data‑driven

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with success taking products from discovery through launch and scaling adoption in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or similar complex environments.
• Experience independently setting direction for a substantial product area, influencing senior stakeholders, and aligning multiple teams around priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Strong ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences, with high interaction design standards and trust.
• Ability to connect long-term opportunities to practical product and platform decisions, working with engineers on cross-cutting capabilities.
• Analytical and experimental rigor: combining research, data, and experiments to prioritize opportunities and decide what to scale.
• Ability to bring structure to open-ended problems, communicating rationale, risks, and needs to move forward.
• Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction. Define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences and translate strategy into cross-team priorities.
• Build experiences that help consumers explore financing options and understand purchasing power.
• Create personalized consumer journeys based on research and experimentation.
• Connect platform capabilities to outcomes, partnering with purchasing power and credit decisioning teams.
• Lead consequential product decisions by aligning Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal partners.
• Own measurable results by defining success, conducting discovery and experiments, and improving activation, conversion, and engagement.
