Job summary

Affirm is hiring a Staff Product Manager for the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover, understand, and use available credit. You’ll own the strategy for credit experiences spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex credit capabilities into intuitive products that build trust and drive activation, conversion, and repeat engagement.

You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal to resolve

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with launch and scaling success in fintech, e-commerce, or marketplaces.
• Ability to independently set direction for a substantial product area and align teams.
• Strong ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences.
• High bar for interaction design, clear communication, and consumer trust.
• Experience combining research, data, and experiments to prioritize opportunities.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and communicating rationale.
• Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences across shopping, repayment, and marketing.
• Build experiences that help consumers explore financing options before checkout and understand purchasing power.
• Create personalized consumer journeys using research and experimentation to meet user needs.
• Connect platform capabilities to outcomes by partnering with purchasing power and credit decisioning teams.
• Lead cross-functional decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Legal to resolve tradeoffs.
• Define success metrics and use funnel analysis and feedback to improve activation, conversion and repeat engagement.
