Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks an experienced Staff Verification Engineer to lead mixed-signal verification for automotive PMICs and related analog IP.

You will design verification environments, develop plans, and work with design, systems, and validation teams to ensure robust sign-off of complex PMIC devices. Applicants should have an MS or PhD in EE/CE or related field, 8+ years in mixed-signal or analog verification, and strong skills in Verilog/SystemVerilog, SPICE, and RTL/GLS tools such

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in mixed-signal or analog circuit verification.
• Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and/or SPICE-based languages.
• Strong understanding of UVM, assertions, and coverage-driven verification.
• Experience interfacing with multiple verification domains: functional, post-silicon, ATE test correlation.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect mixed-signal verification environments, including RNM and AMS model integration for PMIC designs.
• Develop and implement verification plans and strategies for automotive PMIC products.
• Lead debugging for complex analog blocks including switched-mode regulators and LDOs.
• Set up and optimize GLS flows, correlating with RTL simulation results.
• Conduct RTL and Gate-Level simulations, analyze timing, power, and functional correctness across PVT corners.
• Collaborate with Design, Application Engineering, ATE, and Silicon Validation teams.
• Troubleshoot complex design issues involving analog and digital interactions using simulation and measurement.
• Drive continuous improvement of verification tools, methodologies, and infrastructure.
