Job summary

Renesas is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Verification Engineer to lead the verification efforts for our Automotive PMIC product line. This role combines deep expertise in mixed-signal verification with strong leadership to mentor junior engineers and guide verification strategy across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal techniques, hands-on debugging of automotive power management systems, and a track record in RTL/GLS

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in mixed-signal or analog verification.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities in verification teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect mixed-signal verification environments (RNM/AMS).
• Develop verification plans and strategies for automotive PMICs; ensure ISO 26262 alignment.
• Set up Gate-Level Simulation (GLS) flows and correlate with RTL results.
• Lead debugging of analog blocks and complex interfaces across PVT corners.
• Perform RTL and gate-level simulations; ensure timing, power, and functional correctness.
• Collaborate with Design, ATE, Silicon Validation; mentor junior engineers.
