Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks an experienced Staff Verification Engineer to lead mixed-signal verification for automotive PMIC designs. You will architect verification environments, integrate RNM/AMS models, and drive comprehensive test plans across analog and digital domains.

You will collaborate with design, validation, and CAD teams to ensure sign-off on complex power management ICs, using RTL/GLS methods and ISO 26262 compliance.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in mixed-signal or analog circuit verification.
• Deep understanding of mixed-signal verification environment architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with RNM and AMS model integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect mixed-signal verification environments with RNM/AMS integration.
• Develop verification plans and strategies for automotive PMIC products and ISO 26262 compliance.
• Lead debugging for analog blocks like switching regulators and LDOs in mixed-signal interfaces.
• Set up GLS flows and correlate with RTL simulations to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform RTL and GLS simulations, analyze timing, power, and functional correctness across PVT corners.
• Collaborate with Design, Applications, ATE, and Silicon Validation for handoffs.
• Troubleshoot complex design issues across analog and digital domains using simulation and measurements.
• Drive tool/methodology improvements and explore AI-based verification solutions.
• Create and maintain verification documentation, test plans, and coverage metrics.
