Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer – Vehicle Subsystems & Integration to lead design, integration, and testing of electrical and hydraulic systems across multiple sites including Palmdale, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Whiteman AFB, MO; and San Diego, CA.

You will act as SME for a 10+ member team, deliver system-level analyses, and present technical briefings to executives while advancing airworthiness and mission capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
• Proven experience leading a system’s development from concept to sustainment.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Experience acting as SME for an engineering team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: create schematics, select components, and define power/ hydraulics requirements.
• System Engineering: lead trade studies, layout, testing, verification, and supplier interactions.
• Leadership & Communication: provide technical guidance and present to senior leadership.
