Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer - Vehicle Subsystems & Integration to lead multiple aircraft subsystem activities from concept to final integration. The role involves hydraulic and electrical schematics, requirements analysis, and system testing across several U.S.

sites. The position requires a STEM degree with extensive experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and SAP access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of related experience or Master's with 10+ years or PhD with 8+ years.
• Proven experience leading a system's development from concept to sustainment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design hydraulic and electrical schematics for functional aircraft systems and select components.
• Define requirements for electrical power generation, distribution, and circuit protection, including analyses and test procedures.
• Lead system engineering activities, layout development, and trade studies from concept to sustainment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and act as the technical contact for suppliers during development and procurement.
