Affirm is a remote-first company focused on clear, predictable payments with no hidden fees. As Staff Engineer for the Fraud Decisioning team, you will lead cross-functional fraud initiatives, build tools, and drive data-driven improvements to deciders across the user journey.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and collaborate with Product, ML, Analytics and Business teams to deliver robust fraud solutions.

Qualificações

• 6-10+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
• Strong collaboration with Product, ML, Analytics and Business teams.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute large cross-functional initiatives from definition to maintenance.
• Write high-quality, maintainable designs and code with clear debugging paths.
• Mentor engineers and participate in hiring decisions.
