Job summary

Veza is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Backend to design, build, and scale identity security for AI agents. You will work across products and security teams to deliver robust, production‑grade features that secure agent identities and enforce least privilege in dynamic enterprise environments.

You will lead end-to-end development, influence the product roadmap, and leverage AI methods to strengthen the agent security platform while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go or Java; REST and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Architect and Build: Design, develop, and scale a comprehensive identity security solution for AI agents, ensuring it can manage a diverse landscape of agents deployed across different applications and systems.
• Strategic Influence: Shape our long-term agent identity security roadmap and help define industry standards for securing agents, providing visibility into rogue agents, and ensuring least privilege access.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, other engineering teams, and security experts to translate complex security challenges into robust, scalable, and production-grade features.
• End-to-End Ownership: Take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• AI-Driven Engineering: Leverage AI techniques and tools to advance and strengthen Agent Security product.
