Veza, the pioneer in identity security, is seeking a seasoned Sr Staff Backend Engineer to architect and deliver AI-driven access security features. You will design scalable backend services using Go and Python, focusing on secure, reliable AI-assisted workflows in enterprise environments.

You will mentor peers, lead architecture reviews, and drive end-to-end feature delivery from design through release and production readiness within the Access Security team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend software development for enterprise production systems.
• Strong Go and Python programming skills with architectural vision.
• Experience with RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs; solid data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI-enabled identity access features at scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver robust backends.
• Lead code reviews, system design, and testing for reliability and performance.
• Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement in testing and production readiness.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to release and operations.
