Job summary

Veza, part of ServiceNow, seeks a Sr Software Engineering Manager to lead the NHI and Agent Security team, defining the architecture and roadmap for agent identities and runtime authorization. You will shape the engineering strategy and collaborate with product and security teams to deliver impact at scale.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure performance, reliability, and governance across enterprise SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong focus on distributed systems and identity security.
• Experience leading engineering teams (4+ years).
• Experience integrating AI/ML into product workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and roadmap for Veza's NHI and Agent Security team.
• Define architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices for enterprise systems.
• Partner with Tech leads and Senior Engineers on high-impact decisions and code reviews.
• Identify and champion new technologies, including AI/ML, to advance product development.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, observability, and compliance.
• Define detailed execution plans, timelines, and processes for shipping with quality.
