Job summary

Pearson is seeking a forward deployed engineer to sit with customers and code in tandem, turning ambiguous needs into working software. You’ll own the full stack from frontend to observability, delivering real production AI applications integrated with customer workflows.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across lines of business, demonstrate strong CS fundamentals, and apply modern frontend and backend technologies to ship impactful solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience and a track record of shipping production systems end to end.
• Frontend depth with modern React, TypeScript, and component architecture.
• Backend depth including API design, data modeling, and authentication.

Responsibilities

• Go where the problem is by partnering with internal stakeholders and building end-to-end systems for real workflows.
• Conduct real discovery by observing users, asking questions, and translating insights into shippable software.
• Ship production AI applications built on frontier LLMs, agents, and related infra; evaluate results in production.
