Job summary

Pearson is seeking a forward deployed engineer to embed with internal lines of business and deliver working software against real problems. You will ship end-to-end AI-powered applications, from data inputs to production deployment, directly with users and stakeholders.

You will own the full stack, collaborate across teams, and iterate rapidly in ambiguous environments, turning scattered inputs into concrete solutions that move the business forward.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with meaningful time shipping production systems end to end.
• Strong CS fundamentals. Data structures, algorithms, system design. Ability to whiteboard service architecture and discuss tradeoffs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Going where the problem is and designing end-to-end systems with stakeholders.
• Conducting real discovery by sitting with users, observing workflows, and translating input into buildable artifacts.
• Shipping production AI applications on frontier LLMs, agents, and related tech.
• Owning the full stack from frontend to observability and deployment.
